types of finish. Shawn traditionally uses
Oil based Polyurethane finish.  Shawn
has also used water base, Tung Oil,
Linseed Oil and "green" (environmentally
friendly)  finishes. Staining and or
matching stain color of an existing floor
is common and can be done when the
customer requests.

Shawn has been
doing wood floors
for several years
and really takes

great pride in his work. He has an eye for detail
which makes the quality of his floors stand out
from others. By owning and operating the wood
flooring business the quality of the work
remains to the highest of standards. Shawn
also tries to maintain a clean job site by going
the extra mile in preventing dust. As we all
know there is no such thing as completely
dustless but Coastal Maine Wood Floors does
have a dust containment system which is pretty
close. Coastal Maine Wood Floors is always
